Vinegar Hill isn't a big company. In fact, right now we're just two guys who love telling stories. So here's our story.
We were founded in 2006 by David Altrogge and Ian Murphy with the completion of their third film "Drowning Melville". However, shortly after the launch, Ian was in a near fatal car accident. Things looked bad. Really bad. The doctors told us that death was immenent, mere hours away. There was nothing to do except pray. That was a Tuesday.
So we did. We prayed Jesus would spare our friend...
Jesus answered those prayers. Wednesday came and Ian was still alive. And thus began his long and slow recovery.
As Ian worked towards recovery, David started building the company. But he knew he couldn't do it alone. In November of 2007, Michael Hartnett joined the Vinegar Hill team.
So here we are. A company of two — working and waiting. Working to glorify God by providing our clients with innovative and creative videos that clearly communicate their vision and message. And waiting for our friend to join us. You can keep up with Ian's recovery at PrayForIan.com. |
